Established in Wuhan in 1982, Qintai Shipping CO., Ltd. is a long-standing international shipping company, originally known as Hubei Qintai Steamship Company and formerly part of China National Foreign Trade Transportation Group (Sinotrans). While legally independent from Bothwin Shipping, Qintai focuses exclusively on vessel management, enabled by our official International Transportation Qualification License approved by the Ministry of Transport. Both companies operate from the same office space in Nanjing, working closely together to deliver integrated bulk shipping solutions.
We’ve built a strong, efficient management system and expanded our managed fleet to 26 vessels, with more under negotiation. Our in-house departments handle marine operations, crewing, technical management, and compliance, ensuring smooth and professional service.
We also operate a certified crewing agency in Wuhan to meet evolving staffing needs. Our safety systems are ISM-certified, and we hold DOCs from both China’s Maritime Safety Administration and ClassNK. At Qintai, we focus on safe, cost-effective vessel management that help ship owners maintain and grow the value of their assets across global routes.

Founded in Hong Kong in 1998, Bothwin Shipping Co., Ltd. is a bulk shipping company with over 25 years of experience in vessel ownership and operations. We specialize in the transport of dry bulk cargo along major global trade routes, offering end-to-end maritime logistics solutions that prioritize efficiency, reliability, and long-term value. Our team works in both the Nanjing and Hong Kong offices.
As ship owners, we have built a strong reputation for responsible asset management and consistent returns. Even during market downturns, such as from 2009 to 2015, we met investment targets and delivered stable dividends, maintaining trust with our partners and investors.
As operators, we manage both owned and external vessels under a range of chartering arrangements, including voyage charters, time charters, BBC, and TCT. This flexibility allows us to adapt to market dynamics while offering tailored solutions for cargo clients, charterers, and owners alike.
